fairy tale

So there she was, standing with her bare feet touching the cold flooring. The room was completely blind, just like her mind. A little streak of light was sneaking through the Venetian blinds so it was possible to notice, that her naked calves were goose-pimply. In her hand she was squeezing that one letter that would decide of her future. There was only one person and one place to be for her to open it and read. So she drove. She was sitting behind the wheel with no thoughts at all, with her heart beating so fast she could barely breathe. When she arrived she sent him the message that she once told him she would. At this time, she wasn't sure if he would do what she asked. But he did. He simply opened the passenger's door, slipped inside the car and told her where to drive. The place was so simple and so obvious. They sat at the edge of breakwater, remaining silent. Neither of them was looking at the other. She gave him untouched envelop and lighted a cigarette. He looked at the sender's address and then at her. She could feel his eyesight penetrating her body. 'Should I open it?' he asked. She nodded and inhaled over and over again. She was drugged by the smell of his moving hands. The sound of the paper was so disturbing she couldn't move. Suddenly, she felt his arms enfolding her. 'I've always knew that you were great' he said. And then she cried.
